Focus on Homework
A downloadable game for Windows
Focus on Homework is a game about the experience of trying to complete normal, everyday tasks with ADHD, made by three college students with ADHD.
Of course, there is no way to capture the wide variety of ADHD symptoms and presentations in a single game, but our goal is to at least convey the frustration of keeping up with tasks when they always seem to overwhelm you before you know it. Every little thing demands your attention, and trying too hard to ignore it all only makes you more stressed.
This game is intended for non-ADHD audiences, with the goal of fostering empathy for those of us who do struggle.

This is a really interesting concept to tackle, coming from the perspective of someone who doesn't have ADHD myself. However, it would've been better if the text didn't extend past the bounds of the text boxes. Also, having more music choices would've been cool too; implementing the strategy of listening to music as a core gameplay mechanic was a great idea, especially for the concept.
yeah the text box thing is something I fixed in a lot of places... I guess I missed at least one🤣. There was a lot more planned, including more music, hopefully we'll be able to add it later!
Thanks for the feedback!
